Consent form for use of our chat service
Read through this consent form before opening the chat. You will find the chat link below the information about the handling of personal data.
Through use of our chat service regarding the tests we administer, the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir) will process certain personal data connected to your person.
This includes the IP address you are using when you chat with us, as well as any information that you yourself provide us with during such chats. The IP address is only used in order to be able to reply to you via the chat service, and are deleted when you close your chat window.
It is not necessary for you to provide us with any information about yourself when you chat with us, and we therefore advise you to avoid providing any such information when chatting with us. If such information nevertheless is provided, it will be deleted within 24 hours. The information will not be used for any other purposes, and will not be shared with anyone outside HK-dir.
The legal basis for our processing of your personal data in connection with the chat service, is your consent, cf. GDPR art. 6, no. 1, letter a) and art. 7. Your consent will be deemed given when you start a chat with us using the «Start a chat» link set out below.
