Norwegian test sign language

The test is an option for immigrants who use sign language, testing sign language skills that can replace the listening and oral test parts of the Norwegian language test A1-B2.

Q-mark approved

Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills is a member of the European test organization ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe).

In 2018, the Norwegian test underwent a quality control which resulted in the test receiving a quality stamp (Q-mark).

In 2023, the test underwent another quality control, and the quality stamp was renewed. This means that the Norwegian test meets ALTE's 17 quality requirements for language tests.
