When is the test?
Most Norwegian municipalities (kommuner) hold tests of Norwegian language and Norwegian sign language four times a year.

You can register for these tests from Monday the 27th of January 2025 at 9 am. The registration will close Friday the 31st of January 2025 at 11:59 pm.

Not all test centres offer tests in all the periods indicated in the overview. You need to go to your municipality’s (kommune) website to find out when you can take the test.
In some municipalities different tests (sign language comprehension, reading, writing, sign language communication) are held on the same day, in others not. See the information provided by your municipality after you have registered. You can also ask your municipality about test dates.
