Most Norwegian municipalities hold Norwegian language tests four times each year.

The next Norwegian language test (A1–B2) is held in the period 1st– 5th of December. Registration period was from 27th at 9 am to 31st of October at 11:59 pm.

- Appeal deadline: November 18th
- Registration period: October 27th – 31st
- Test period: December 1st – 5th
- Results: January 8th 2026
- Appeal deadline: February 6th 2026
Not all test centres offer tests in all the periods indicated in the overview. You need to go to your municipality's (kommune) website to find out when you can take the test.
In some municipalities the four test parts are held on the same day. In other municipalities, the test parts may be held in different days. See the information provided by you municiplality after you have registered. You can also contact your municipality and ask them which dates the tests are held.
