Norwegian language test A1-B2
Practise for the test
The Norwegian language test measures language, not knowledge. There is no curriculum. The test measures what skill level your Norwegian is at. You practise for the test by practising using the Norwegian language. You can also use the sample tasks to prepare.
The best way to improve your language skills, is to use the language. When practising for the test, you should practise listening to, reading, speaking and writing Norwegian.
The sample tasks cover all the different task types for each test part. These are only examples. You will not get these tasks on the day of the test, but you will get similar tasks. You will not get a result when you do sample tasks. For listening and reading tasks, you will be told how many tasks you answer correctly. You cannot submit writing or speech for evaluation.
Practise for the listening test
The listening test is based on real conversations and messages, because it is important that you can manage your daily life outside the classroom.
The texts are short and without background noise. There are never more than two speakers in a task.
Listening texts are suited to the level of the test.
