Norwegian language test A1-B2
Find your result
You will receive a transcript of your result by email. The test certificate will be sent by post and may take a few days.
When will you get your result?
The results from the Norwegian test will be released on the 22nd of October and sent to your email.
Not received the result yet?
If you have not yet received your result, you must contact the test centre (where you took the test). Check if they have the correct email address and address and ask them to email you your transcript.
See the result on ‘Min side’
Have you registered your telephone number and e-mail address with the test centre? Then you can log in to ‘Min side’ to see results from the tests you have taken when the results are ready. You can also check if your contact information is correct.
If you are unable to log in to My page, please contact the test centre. They need to enter your contact information.
The test certificate
The test certificate is sent by post. It may take a few days until you receive it in your mailbox.
Remember to keep your test certificate safe. It tells you what level of Norwegian language you have achieved.
Have you lost your test certificate?
- If you took the test after March 2014, you must contact the test centre and ask for a copy of the test certificate. Only the test centre can send this out.
- If you took the test before March 2014, please fill out a form and send to us. You will receive an answer from us within three weeks. If you have passed a test, we will send a letter confirming the result. This is sent to Digipost/e-Boks. Go to form to get your test certificate (in Norwegian only. Will be updated)
Share your results from the Diploma Registry
If you are registered with a national identity number in the test system, you can use ID-porten to log in to the Diploma Registry. You can also log in using Feide, if you are a Feide user (have used Feide for previous log ins).
The Diploma Registry is a secure service you can use to share your results from tests and other exams. You can use the diploma portal to send a link with your results to, for example, campuses and employers.
In the Diploma Registry you can see your latest and best results on the Norwegian test, social studies test and citizenship test. You can also share your results safely with others.
Are you applying for admission?
If you apply for admission to higher education, you must send the link to yourself and download the signed PDF document. You will then need to upload this document to Samorda opptak’s website when you are applying.
What does my result mean?
What do I need to do to get better results?
To reach a higher level, you need to improve your language:
- You must be able to use the language more flexibly and more precisely, in more (unfamiliar) situations, and on more topics.
- At higher levels, you understand spoken language even when there is background sound or several speakers at the same time. You can read long texts, even when the structure is not so clear.
A teacher can explain and advise on what to do to become even better and get to the next level.
